Last November, Toni and I took a quick trip down from home (Cincinnati) to Louisville. We had been there before on one of our shooting expeditions. That time we had gone down to take a cruise on the steamboat Belle of Louisville. This time, we were looking for ghost signs (Toni put together a list of addresses for us to visit. Our hotel was a ways from downtown, but the expressways around there seem to work better than ours here, so it wasn’t hard to get to the interesting places, where there were old buildings, ghost signs, sites and structures in the midst of being turned into something new. Such as this one, an old factory being demolished.
This batch of images is being put to work in a series of social media posts to promote my photography. I’m struggling with the tools and suchlike to do that. What I want to do, I’m told, can be done, but I’m not succeeding brilliantly at it … yet.
